Independent music is alive and well and thriving, and the Web is an exceptional place to find it. My desire with this section is to help spread the word about talented independent musicians. A variety of genres will be covered here and submissions are invited and welcome.

Eric Costello, well known for his table-free CSS Layout Techniques, templates and expertise (and an author, too), is also a musician. Find his MP3s at Best Option, his band comprised of himself and his instruments. - Bluff City Backsliders

One of the most well-known people in the Web community for his work with the Web Standards Project (WaSP), his weblog, workshops, and authoring, Zeldman is also a wonderfully gifted musician. by Peter Gutmann. Peter is a prolific and talented reviewer of classical and other music. An attorney by day, Peter has been a published music reviewer for Goldmine Magazine and more. His site is a collection of dozens of reviews and commentary, from rare finds to oldies and new releases, and links to music sites. Exceptional.
